Our product shares a shelf, and a format, with a category the FDA has warned about repeatedly. Rather than hope nobody notices, here is the distinction in plain terms.
Plainly stated
ONYX Honey contains honey, deionized apple juice concentrate, royal jelly powder and Panax ginseng root extract. That is the complete ingredient list, it is printed on every box, and it is reproduced on this site.
It contains no sildenafil, no tadalafil, and no other undeclared pharmaceutical ingredient. There is no proprietary blend, because a proprietary blend is where an undisclosed ingredient would go.
Why this page exists
Honey sachets sold under names like "royal honey" have been the subject of repeated FDA public notifications. Laboratory testing found several to contain undeclared prescription drug ingredients, most often sildenafil or tadalafil, the active ingredients in Viagra and Cialis. The FDA has issued warning letters to companies selling them.
The risk is not abstract. Those drugs interact seriously with nitrate medication prescribed for heart conditions, and can lower blood pressure dangerously. Someone buying what they think is honey has no reason to check for a drug interaction.
ONYX is a honey sachet, sold in the same format. So the question is fair, and we would rather answer it on a page you can link to than leave it hanging.
The choices we made because of it
- We do not call ONYX "royal honey", and we do not use crown, king or VIP branding.
- We do not market it for sexual performance, and we ask creators working with us not to either.
- We publish the full Supplement Facts panel, the complete ingredient list and the warnings on the site, not just on the box.
- We use no proprietary blend, so every active is named with its own amount.
- We give a real company name, a real US address and a phone number that reaches a person.
Some of that costs us traffic, because the terms we avoid are the high-volume ones in this category. We think that is the correct trade.
How to check us, or anyone else
- Search the brand name in the FDA medication health fraud database, which lists products found to contain hidden drug ingredients.
- Read the ingredient list for named actives with individual amounts. Treat a proprietary blend as missing information.
- Look for a real company, address and phone number. Ours are on the contact page.
- Be sceptical of any honey product promising a fast physical effect, especially a sexual one.
- Ask the brand directly for testing documentation, and note whether you get an answer.
What we do and do not claim
ONYX is a dietary supplement. It is honey with two studied ingredients in it, in a format that fits in a pocket. We think it tastes good.
We are not claiming it treats, prevents or cures anything, because it does not and because saying so would be unlawful. Where the evidence for royal jelly is weak, we say so rather than route around it.
